The Digital Scholarship Group is dedicated to creating an open and collaborative community in which Boston College faculty, staff, and students explore the application of digital scholarship methods and tools in their research. Working closely with staff across the Libraries, we facilitate and support members of the BC community by researching and experimenting with platforms and tools (GIS, digital exhibitions, TEI, data mining, 3D modeling, AR/VR, content management systems, etc) to address the evolving needs of scholars at all levels at Boston College. In our endeavor to facilitate and support digital projects, we aim to:
- Provide resources to faculty, students, and staff for developing the skills necessary to utilize DS tools while being mindful of the digital divide that exists in the modern world.
- Consult on potential projects to develop a working plan that meets the needs of the researchers while maintaining a commitment to accessibility, transparency, and preservation.
