The Graduate Certificate in Digital Humanities is a joint effort of the History and English Departments and BC Libraries’ Digital Scholarship Group, which contributes to curriculum design, provides instruction, and supports student projects.
The program is available to graduate students in Morrisey College’s Classical Studies, English, History, Economics, Political Science, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, and Theology programs. (Admission is given with approval from their graduate advisors.) To earn the certificate, students must take three courses:
- HIST/ENGL 7888 Graduate Colloquium: Introduction to Digital Humanities
- One relevant elective course within the home department
- HIST/ENGL 8275 Digital Humanities Capstone
